Patrick J. Ruane, Inc. completed a historic renovation of The Casa Grande house, originally constructed in 1854. The building currently houses the New Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum. The scope of work included skimming the exterior brick with Transmineral Lime and scoring the lime plaster to look like block. On the interior of the museum, we built light gauge metal stud walls, and we installed drywall and veneer plaster. The project was awarded a Wall and Ceiling Alliance Construction Excellence Award for "Historic Exterior" in 2011.
